Franz Joseph Alfred ("Eddie") Winkopp in the 1880's. He was Walter Windsor's grandfather. "Eddie" fathered 15 children between 1869 and 1898. he was a restaurant and bar proprietor. He was born February 03, 1846 in Tauberbischofsheim, Germany, and he died January 18, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York. He emigrated to the US in 1862.

Anna was born 1849 in New York and died June 1885. "Eddie" then married Caroline Blumlein about 1886, Anna's sister. "Eddie" and Caroline were the parents of Walter Winkopp, born August 8, 1893. "Eddie" died January 18, 1919.
